Hello there!
I am a creative woman with a huge heart. I specialize in photographing families, including maternity, newborn, all the way up to graduating seniors. I am here to show you the magic I see. Learning from people who are different than me and representing their uniqueness reminds me that I am right where I want to be.
I definitely hit the jackpot on the partner lotto and I am a proud mama to a wonderfully wild girl and boy. You can usually find me dancing to any song that comes on, encouraging everyone to wear colorful sneakers, or reading a good fantasy novel. My spirit animals include llamas and Leslie Knope.
I move through life looking for the good, the magic, the power. My job as your photographer is to show you all of those things in yourself. I am a total nurturer so working with me is like getting a big hug. I am also an old soul who loves new friends, new lessons, and capturing the magic in the mess through my lens.

Why Photography?

I am such a sentimental person and sharing meaningful photographs with others is my love language.
When my Grandparents passed I took photos of their home, trying to capture everything in it's place. I let the photos sit for years, content to look at them when I was missing them most.
I wanted to share this hidden gift with my family. I created a photo book that told the story of their home and the lives that had been shaped there. Let's just say the tears flowed, the hugs were plenty, and it led to a wonderful night full of stories and laughter. The power of photographs did all of that.
I get that same feeling sharing my work with my clients. My sentimental heart hopes that those photographs will be used to tell stories, and share memories that will continue to connect people. Memories are such a precious commodity. What better way to capture them then through beautiful photographs that can be shared, hung on the wall, and placed into book.
